60 Minute Float Session / $75
Floating is one of the simplest, yet most unique, experiences dedicated to healing the mind & body. Within seconds you’ll find yourself floating effortlessly in approx. 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt, in only 10 inches of water, while in complete darkness (or not if you prefer) and pure silence. The water is temperature controlled for absolute comfort - as if you are floating in a cloud!
This is your opportunity to leave the outside world, which we all know is full of stimuli, and be at peace with your thoughts, memories and ideas. The floating experience allows your body to fully relax, while releasing every ounce of tension built up over time.
The benefits are not limited, but the Big 3 include:
Physiological - reduce physical stress & pain
Psychological - alleviate mental stress & improve mood
Enhancement - recover faster & improve creativity

Floating FAQs
Should I wear a bathing suit?
Most people feel more comfortable floating in the nude, but if a swimsuit is more your style than go for it! You’ll have total privacy and the room to yourself.
Can I float if I’m pregnant?
Absolutely! Many expecting mothers take advantage of the benefits of floating while pregnant. Please consult your healthcare provider if you have any major concerns or if you are in your third trimester.
What temperature is the water?
The temperature of the water in the float cabin is around 93.5 degrees. This mimics the temperature of your skin, and after a few minutes of floating your body will almost feel like it’s floating in space rather than in water. It’s the perfect temperature, not too hot, not too cold!
What if I’m claustrophobic?
Our float cabins are very spacious rather than an enclosure. You have total freedom to keep the lights on, turn the music on or off and exit the cabin at any time.
What should I bring?
If you have somewhere to go after your session, bring a hair brush and any sort of personal care items you wish. Our vanity room is set up with hair dryers and mirrors for getting ready.
How often can I float?
Just like any self-care routine, consistency is the key! Float as much as often as you’d like depending on your needs.
Is this water clean?
Absolutely! The float solution filters through multiple sanitation cycles using UV and ozone in between clients.
How long is a session?
A typical session at Sirona Wellness Spa is 60-minutes but you may exit early if you choose.
Do I have to keep the lights and music off?
You’re in complete control. Our music is generated to aid in complete relaxation, but you have the option to turn the music completely off if you’d like to experience the benefits of sensory deprivation, or keep the lights on if you prefer.
Is floating new?
No! The first float was in 1954 to study the effects of sensory deprivation. Floating is still used to this day in research projects, including brain research.
